Yon Ju Hachi Aikido is about guiding our students down their chosen path. Whether that’s competition at the highest level, gradings, coaching or just being part of the club. We take great pride in supporting our students both on and off the mat.
As a club we have three venues : Aberford, Wetherby and Harrogate.

Robbie – 5th Dan
I began my Aikido career 43 years ago at the ager of 10, under the guidance of Sensei Bob Jones.
I’ve gone on to represent my country, sat on the BAA Executive Committee as Youth Development Officer, achieved 5th Dan, and have the privilege of being the head coach at Yon JU Hachi Aikido.
Claire – 2nd Dan
I have been practicing Aikido for over 10 years, it is now a huge part of not only my life.
I am the coach of my own club based in Harrogate, made up of amazing students, who make coaching so rewarding.
